Next General Meeting: Saturday, January 23, 2010
Venue: Event Hall, Metropolitan Corporate Academy, 475 State Street, Corner of 3rd Avenue and State Street, Brookyn, NY 11201, Opposite side of Flatbush from Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) (Map).
Time: The meeting starts with thanksgiving prayers at 5.00 p.m. and won't last beyond 8 p.m. Dinner will be served. The agenda of the meeting which will be made available in due course.
Special Guest: Idongesit Ekpanya, CEO, Three Star Communication Nig Ltd and Chief Operator, MTN, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States, is the Guest Speaker at the January 2010 General Meeting of the NY Chapter of Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA, Inc.
A successful entrepreneur with multi-million business holdings in the Niger-Delta states of Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Cross River, Ekpanya will share his experience about suitable career path in Nigeria for the Diaspora and the youths wishing to return to Nigeria. He will also discuss how he did it, followed by a question and answer session.
Akwa Ibom Youths, members, prospective members, and friends of the community are invited to come and learn about development at home, especially investment opportunities in the oil and gas sectors.
This will be a good opportunity for everyone to come and learn about issues of common interest and how to stay ahead in today’s competitive environment back home.
